[U-Boot-Users] Status of [PATCH 0/11] MPC85xx platform updates Patches?

What is the current status of the patches submitted by Matthew McClintock on June 27 entitled:

[PATCH 0/11] MPC85xx platform updates

I need to develop another board port and it would need to be on top of those changes. The parts of this patch series I am most concerned about are the changes that remove the DTS files from being compiled and linked into U-Boot, and instead make it a downloadable file that U-Boot knows how to hand off to Linux for booting.

I noticed that patches posted after these have been applied, so I was wondering if you were not applying these 85xx patches, or there is an issue that needs to be resolved there still, or perhaps we just need to wait some more?
