As I'm sadly sure some of you won't have seen all of this before, in short, SPI drivers are to have been converted to DM by this past release. There have been build time warnings for a while, and at various times I and others have tried (but, failed) to get ahold of all board maintainers that use drivers that need to be updated to current best practices. Chuanhua Han has migrated T2080QDS as reference. Once this patch-set is accepted all other mpc85xx/mpc86xx platforms can follow.
