Yes: RTFM.
If you want to use busybox, you are expected to read the related information, and configure your system as required by busybox. In your case, at least the /etc/inittab file must be adapted as needed for busybox. This is all documented, so please read the documentation.
And please don't post such questions on the U-Boot mailing list, where they are off topic.
