I have tried for a while to get gpg going. I used to use it a long time again. Do you know any good instructions for that?
Have you fully switched to using gpg2 (as "gpg" even, or configured git to know to use gpg2 instead) ? That might be it.
OK I installed that, and it looks like I had configured the key wrongly with gitconfig.
