fsl_ifc_spl.c : It is is responsible for reading u-boot binary from NAND flash and copying into DDR. It also transfer cotrol from NAND SPL to u-boot image present in DDR.

Did you use -C in git format-patch? I'd expect fsl_ifc_spl.c to be recognized as a copy.
Yes Scott, I used -C option during git format-patch. $ git format-patch -C -M HEAD^^^^^^
