The logodl board has long been unmaintained and left broken. As obviously nobody is interestedin that code any more, we may as well remove it.
I'd like to NACK it as it's sad to kill a board, but whatever. I don't own one.
I vote for creating an 'unmaintained/broken boards' directory and moving all the broken boards into it (and remove them from the boards.cfg and makeall script etc). At least that way if anyone dusts off an old board they can at least see where it was up to. Maybe also a short note to indicate the last known 'good' release of U-Boot that each board worked with to allow anyone interested to get it back up to speed faster
The first thing that is always said when someone asks about a board they have been given/bought with an old version of U-Boot is to upgrade, pretty hard to do if it's been nuked from the tree ;)
A text file in doc, like README.historic-boards would suffice, indicating which u-boot release that board was nuked. It would also be good to mention CPU that board used. So anyone looking to support a similar board could have a look and with git its possible to get the old files.
