No, I meant exactly what I wrote - the RSS feed on the git repo (http://git.denx.de/?p=u-boot.git;a=rss , see bottom right corner of the web page) so you get informed when new stuff gets in.
Ok, then I simply fail to understand you, as we all agreed that the state of the project is not to be found in the source repository but on a TWiki web page.
The OP's question was about notification of a "rc" commit in the git repository. This is something you can find out through the git repo's RSS.
