Are you sure? I'm pretty sure I can see it in the section of the manual that deals with environment variables. See http://www.denx.de/wiki/view/DULG/UBootEnvVariables
You may have to scroll down to the end of the file.
Okay. I was referring to the README and any other docs in the source tree.
