How can I boot into the kernel in EL1 mode as easily as possible?

Hello all.

I have an ARM64-v8a device (Cortex-A55) that by default boots into the kernel at EL2, but for some reason I want to boot into the kernel in EL1 mode. Is there a relatively easy way to do this?
