Would this not be a good opportunity to move this option to the boards' defconfig files?
I don't remember why I chose the current approach -- maybe fear of breaking a bunch of boards. I can definitely take a look at implementing the defconfig approach. Stay tuned.
I'll just take this as is so the rest of the series can go in. Follow-on patch would be appreciated.
