[U-Boot-Users] MIPS compile problem "linking PIC files with non-PIC files"

Hello,

While I compile purple_config uboot, I met a problem as following:

Bad value: failed to merge target specific data of file lib_generic/libgeneric.a(crc.o)

....linking PIC files with non-PIC files

Could you mind tell me where the problem is? (1) compiler? (2) compile switch? (3) ar switch? (4) ld switch?
