[U-Boot-Users] Git clone problems?

      Wolfgang,
Any chance you have some insight into a problem I might
be having trying to "git clone" the u-boot tree here?
Am I doing something wrong?
% git clone http://www.denx.de/git/u-boot.git u-boot-ours
        defaulting to local storage area

This happens with 0.99.9n and 1.0.6.
