[U-Boot-Users] SDRAM

Hi! I'm trying to port u-boot to an APEX board from ALTERA, i'm have been looking in to Alteras Cyclone board which is a newer and bigger board. My problem is that i dont have any SDRAM as the cyclone board has. And in theier .h files they say that you have to have a SDRAM. But this should be possible to come around, is it not?
