[U-Boot-Users] Uboot-compiler dependency

Hi all,

I am porting uboot to our own arm-based proprietary board. I have a few questions.

i) Is there any dependency between the uboot and compiler version? (like the linux kernel). I have seen on the net & the ReadMe available, but could not find this info anywhere.

ii) Am using u-boot-1.1.4. What compiler can I use? Can I use arm-linux-gcc-3.4.1?
