Hi,
as you might have noticed, the end of the merge window has come, but actually no merging took place at all. I apologize to to everybody for being so unresponsive in the last few weeks. I had to learn that it was a bad idea to open a merge window in a time where many companies have the end of their fiscal year and need to get out last minute orders very, very urgently. [Seems the end of the year is always a big surprise to many of them.]
I hope to find a few silent nights to get some real work done in the following weeks, but it seems necessary to me to extend the merge window to give everybody a real chance to stay in sync.
If there are no serious protests I suggest to keep this merge window open until January 10, 2008.
