[U-Boot] i.MX6 boot mode on SRC_SBMR1

Code comments on commit 124a06d7fbbf82f47304d499418460312a725ad6 for forcing the boot mode say:

Although this works (the ROM boots from the media configured in GPR9[25:0] if GPR10[28] is set), the value of SBMR1 does not really change, as the comment says, and is still the one read by the strapping.

I didn't find this documented on the HRM. Where did you find it?
