Introduce a new parameter size that accepts elf section size to remoteproc ops callback device_to_virt(). This can enforce more checks on the elf section that is being loaded.
It would be better to talk about "size" instead of "elf section size" since device_to_virt may deal with any memory region.

I guess it would be better than this function also checks that the end address of the region is in the range of valid region
Something like:
end_addr = cpu_to_be32(da + size - 1) + check success of dev_translate_dma_address(dev, &end_addr);
fdt32_t in_addr = cpu_to_be32(da); u64 paddr; diff --git a/include/remoteproc.h b/include/remoteproc.h index 4987194905..81f616a1f9 100644 --- a/include/remoteproc.h +++ b/include/remoteproc.h @@ -122,9 +122,10 @@ struct dm_rproc_ops { * * @dev: Remote proc device * @da: Device address
