Further I notice that arason is not in linux.git, so it would be good to further clarify which tree that came from or whether that is a U-Boot-local change as well.

Unfortunately it seems I merged these patches too soon.
For this and any other comments, please either resend the patches or send fix-up patches and I will tidy this up.
But note that I am away this week so may not get to it until I return.
