Allwinner A33 tablets comes with the libdram binary, fortunately I've found the libdram code at https://github.com/realthunder/a33_bootloader/tree/master/basic_loader/bsp/…. I've integrated it with mainline u-boot, still lot to do to post it to upstream Basic A33 support including dram init available in my personal repo https://github.com/vishnupatekar/u-boot-sunxi/tree/a33-dram I could able to boot u-boot over fel, and get u-boot command prompt on microSD pins which are multiplexed with UART0. The peach boards have their SDRAM start address at 0x20000000 instead of 0x40000000 which seems common for all other exynos5 based boards. This means the layout set in exynos5-common.h causes the kernel be loaded more then 128MB (at 0x42000000) away from memory start which breaks booting kernels with CONFIG_AUTO_ZRELADDR Define a custom MEM_LAYOUT_ENV_SETTINGS for both peach boards which uses the same offsets from start of memory as the common exynos5 settings. [U-Boot] Including support for PowerPC-based Linkstations/Kuroboxes?

Hi. I have a Kurobox HG, which is an embedded PowerPC NAS, and I am running a very old binary of u-boot. This binary was precompiled and I took it from http://downloads.buffalo.nas-central.org/LSHG_PPC/Bootloader/Uboot/Precompi… (If I'm not mistaken---it's been quite some time). This corresponds to a patched u-boot 1.1.4, which is almost 10 years old. The source code with instructions is at: http://www.linuxnotincluded.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/linkstation/u-boot.html In particular, the interesting part is the patch: http://www.linuxnotincluded.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/linkstation/downloads/u-bo… Now, my question: would this be accepted to be integrated into upstream u-boot? If so, what would be the necessary steps? I know little about low-level programming, but I am willing to learn and, also, to test everything on my own Kurobox (in fact, I have two: one which is a Kurobox HD and another that is a Kurobox HG; they are mostly the same, except for the HG, which has a gigabit ethernet). One of my goals would be to add support to Debian for it to be installed on such machines (I already run Debian on them, but the process was too manual and I want to automate everything and put as much as possible of the work in the distribution). musb might be used in gadget mode on sunxi, so we don't want to assume anything related to host mode, especially USB keyboard support. Thus, there is no reason to keep USB_KEYBOARD always enabled and in Kconfig: it is much better fit to enable it in the common sunxi config header, when needed (some devices also have no USB support at all). In case gadget mode is not explicitly enabled, this will fallback to host mode.
