[U-Boot] How to access GP partitions from uboot (2015.04)

Hi! I have created 4 hw GP partitions on the eMMC (GP1,2,3,4) and formatted with ext4 fs. I have to read the contents of these partitions from the uboot but i am not finding them in the mmc part command. I can see them in the mmc info... Hi! So this is my 4th posting regarding the Candence SPI driver on SoCFPGA. Again, SPI NOR flash is working. At least on SoCrates and on another custom SoCFPGA based board. The main change in this version is, that the Cadence driver now is a driver model (DM) based driver. And this needs the DT support which I posted just before. One of the reasons to enable DT support in SoCFPGA is, that I need to support multiple different SPI controllers for this platform. This is the QSPI Cadence controller and the Designware SPI master controller. Both are implemented in the SoCFPGA. And enabling both controllers is only possible by using the new driver model (DM). The DM SPI code only supports DT based probing. So it was easier to move SoCFPGA to DT than to add the (deprecated) platform-data based probing to the DM SPI suport. Note that I have patches to support the Designware SPI master controller also via DM in the queue. I'll post them shortly. With FIT boot, U-boot puts a device tree and an initramdisk at the tail of the memory. Some UniPhier boards have a large amount of memory. For those boards, a device tree and an initramdisk are located out of reach of the Linux kernel causing a kernel panic if CONFIG_VMSPLIT_3G is defined in the kernel side. Add initrd_high and fdt_high to prevent them from going too high. This patch has some parts connected together: - Use _gd in bss section which is automatically cleared Location at SPL_MALLOC_END wasn't cleared at all - Use MALLOC_F_LEN(early alloc) instead of FULL MALLOC (mem_malloc_init is not called at all) - Simplify malloc and stack init. I've tried three different USB keyboards on an A20-Olinuxino-Micro and a Banana Pi, and I always get that error "cannot reset port N!?" where N is whichever USB socket I've plugged it into, and U-Boot cannot see the keyboard. [U-Boot] Relocation issue - need help!

Hi, I'm trying to track down a "syntax error" issue that gets triggered when erasing the U-Boot image in NOR flash. Symptoms look like this: => print update update=protect off 0xfc000000 +${filesize};erase 0xfc000000 +${filesize};cp.b 200000 0xfc000000 ${filesize};protect on 0xfc000000 +${filesize} => run update Un-Protected 2 sectors .. done Erased 2 sectors syntax error Protected 2 sectors => run update syntax error git bisect found commit 199adb6 "common/misc: sparse fixes" as culprit; breaking this down further showed a single line in common/cli_hush.c to trigger the problem. This patch here is not suited to fix the original cause of this issue. But then, I do not see where there might be a relocation problem. To be sure I even verified that "ifs" and "map[]" are really in RAM all the time. Has anybody an idea how to further track this down? Or is the patch above actually a real fix? If so, why?
