The Arndale board is based on samsung's exynos5250 SOC. First patch just removes the redundant SPI configs from common exynos5250 config file. Second patch moves the board specific configs to board specific config file. The third adds the andale board support. This patchset depends on [1] for tzpc initialization, on [2] for copying u-boot to RAM from spl, and on first 6 patches of [3] for mmc support. [U-Boot] [PATCH 0/6] ARMv7: Add HYP mode switching support

(for GIT URL and Changelog see below) ARM CPUs with the virtualization extension have a new mode called HYP mode, which allows hypervisors to safely control and monitor guests. The current hypervisor (KVM and Xen) implementations require the kernel to be entered in that HYP mode. This patch series introduces a configuration variable CONFIG_ARMV7_VIRT which enables code to switch all cores into HYP mode. This is done automatically during execution of the bootm command (but could also be done earlier - U-Boot runs fine in HYP mode without MMU usage). The process of switching into HYP mode requires the CPU to be in non-secure state, which requires the GIC to be programmed properly first. Explanations about the details are in the commit messages of the respective patches. The code aims to be as generic as possible, though currently it has only been tested on the Versatile Express TC-2 board. The last patch thus enables the feature for that board and relies on the Versatile Express updates patches sent out lately[1]. [U-Boot] Booting ELF image of Integrity on p2041rdb using u-boot

Hello, According to "README" in /board/freescale/p2041rdb there are 2 files I should burn except uboot.bin: rcw.bin ucode.bin I tried to google those file names and found nothing. 1. Can you tell (a link will be great) what is the purpose of those files ? How should I create them ? Using u-boot I want to launch an ELF image of Integrity O.S from the NOR flash. 2. Are there any preconditions (h.w initializations in u-boot) for doing this ? 3. Should I use the device tree (p2041rdb.dtb) for booting Integrity ? Thank you in advance for your reply. The spl_boot.c which copies the u-boot from the booting device to ram is made common for all the exynos based platforms. To do so: 1. Moved smdk5250/spl_boot.c to common armv7/exynos folder and updated to make it common for exynos4 and exynos5 2. Introduced a CONFIG_SPL_BOOTING option as only exynos5250 supports booting from SPI device 3. Renamed some config options to make them common between exynos5250, origen and smdkv310. SD/MMC booting: tested on exynos4210 based origen, exynos5250 based Arndale and SMDK5250 boards. Hi, Recently, after successfully adding my ethernet driver to u-boot-2011.09, I tried to use u-boot's tftpboot and nfs command to test my driver, with tftpboot command, no matter how many times to test, there's no problem. But, with nfs command, if I did not add the board's ip address to nfs server(Ubuntu linux PC)'s /etc/hosts, there was always a "Cannot umount" error, although the data loading was right. With the help of "wireshark", I found that if didn't add board's ip to /etc/hosts, after the "umount call" from board, nfs server(Ubuntu linux PC) tried to start a mDNS processing(something like "query x.x.167.10.in-addr.arpa"), but there is not xDNS server in my network enviroment, so it fails, and during these time, "umount call" timeout happened twice. And after the failing of mDNS, the nfs server replied board's "umount call", but with a wrong "rpc id" number, because the last "rpc id" holded by u-boot was added(because of the timeout of "umount call"), but nfs server didn't. I can fix it by adding board's ip to nfs server PC's /etc/hosts. But the problem is: if there is a "Cannot umount" error(NetState = NETLOOP_FAIL), the net core does not call the "halt" function of the driver, that means the ethernet driver is still working. But before the loading(starting) of linux image, all DMA devices(my NIC is one of them) should be quieted. I wanted to know, Why we do not call ethernet driver's "halt" function if there was a "Cannot umount" error? (I am so sorry that I do not know whether I send this mail to the right mail address, I couldn't find net or nfs's maintainer from u-boot/MAINTAINERS, it seems only boards' maintainers are there, so this mail to mail addresses contains in nfs.c and net.c. The previous patches is broken, so I send again.
