Hi all, I am working in Lite5200B board. Here in our board we have two different MAC's. Can anyone say me how to set two different IP's, two different MAC addresses and two different gateway addresses? Where exactly I have to make a change in U-Boot code? Thanks in advance. [U-Boot-Users] what's the function of 'load_addr' and 'BootFile' when downloading files with tftp?

I know 'BootFile' is the file name which will be downloaded on tftpserver, 'load_addr' is the address of 'BootFile' downloaded. My question is how tftp get the value of 'BootFile' and 'load_addr' and complete the download, a lots of thanks --------------------------------- 雅虎邮箱，终生伙伴！

Stefan, One main reason is sharing some of my responsibilities. He will be managing the updates that are push/pull to/from your repository and done properly to meet u-boot coding style. Since he is already a u-boot custodian within Freescale, he has better skill in handling and managing git than I do. Also, he can keep the Freescale ColdFire repository synchronize with Denx repository. I am still doing the same function as before, reviewing ColdFire related patches internal or external, updating, merging, maintaining, etc. Hope this explanation help a bit. :) Regards, TsiChung

[U-Boot-Users] U-Boot problems with MPC8272ADS

Hi there, I installed u-boot on my mpc8272ads board, and when I connect the board with a serial link to my pc, I don't see any output in the console, I use cu S0@115200, I have connected a JTAG to see what's happening in the board I can see that the PC register is changing and going through the memory, and the pc will be stuck in an infinite loop which means that he is waiting for an input, probable the command prompt. I have compared different positions in my PC register and the u-boot.map and I can see which function my code is at, so u-boot is running, but why I don't have a display?? Any help will be much appreciated.

[U-Boot-Users] How is av_[] referenced after relocation?

Hi u-boot buddies, I'm working on booting my little toy board based on mpc8248 with u-boot. When debugging the startup code, I found that u-boot-1.1.6/common/dlmalloc.c::av_[] is relocated during calling to relocate_code. The question is, how can the code after the relocation, says malloc_bin_reloc, reference av_[]? I suppose that av_[] is "static" and the symbol will be stripped when u-boot.bin is generated. Thanks a lot.

Right... The arcitecture is arm, the module is a PXA270. The odd bit about this whole mess is that the 'board' is actually a business-card sized board which we plug into our main-board. That is a CCXP270 by Digi International. They shipped us the development environment which included some version of U-boot vintage 2005. Since this is almost certainly an out-of-date version of U-boot, should I update my Uboot to the most recent version?
