[U-Boot-Users] Starting a patch for TI Davinci support

I am trying to get a patch together to add support for the TI Davinci processor into u-boot. I have started with one of the patches floating around the internet and am in the process of modifying to support the Lyrtech SFF SDR board. Currently, this patch will boot on the board and use the network and do some ram tests. I haven't worked through NAND support yet. The patch is against git. I am very interested in structural comments, like the best way to support similar, but different boards. I would be glad to collect additional patches and see if we can't get support for davinci boards into u-boot. The current patch is here: http://www.balister.org/~balister/u-boot-sffsdr.patch Philip

[U-Boot-Users] Does Uboot do lowlevel clock settings if it is in RAM?

Hi all, I am downloading the uboot.bin file through JTAG using CCS. its downloading sucessfully. But after running it nothing comes in the serial port of my omap2430sdp. we did not port uboot yet thats why we are using a working uboot with the clock settings done by CCS we checked the clock settings. its going wrong after we start running uboot(its fine untill we download through JTAG). But what i understood that uboot won't change any clock settings if it is running from RAM. I want to know whether uboot changes clock settings if its running from RAM?? please somebody help me out. Previously ft_board_setup() was called by fdt_chosen() which was not really correctly structured. This splits ft_board_setup() out by creating a new fdt boardsetup command. Fix a bug when parsing fdt set command values which have the square bracket form [00 11 22 33] - the length was updated incorrectly in when parsing that form. Hi all, I am working with omap2430sdp uboot. i am running this uboot from RAM(by copying the uboot.elf file to RAM using CCS). But it always prints the messages shown below and hangs. I am unable to give any commands.
