Hi Friends, I am 1st time user of u-boot. I am to bring up arm-based board. i.e my target board is going to be based on ARM architecture/ I follwed the following steps. 1,I installed precompiled tool chain on my machine 2,Built / compile linux kernel. 3,IBuilt / compile u-boot. Now what should be the next step? Is there any document availble to tell me the exact procedure for this. I am on linux -redhat -enterprise machine. kernel version 2.6 I would appreciate your rely. Re-submit this patch by using sync instead of SYNC/DO_SYNC. Some CPUs like PPC, BLACKFIN need sync() to ensure cfi flash write command is fully finished. The sync() is defined in each CPUs' io.h file. For those CPUs which do not need sync for now, a dummy sync() is defined in their io.h as well. Some device trees have a mac-address property, some have local-mac-address, and some have both. To support all of these device trees, ftp_cpu_setup() should write the MAC address to mac-address and local-mac-address, if they exist.
