[U-Boot-Users] How to make YAFFS Filesystem which can be used by U-boot?

I'm new to this project and I'm trying to locate the flow of the program, where it starts, where the main is, just to familiarize with the code. Can anyone give me some indication about where the flow starts ? Hm, DDR_CASLAT_20 was already used in the very same file (board\tqm834x\tqm834x.c), which was introduced by DENX for the TQM834x porting. In include/configs/tqm834x.h I found the line: #define DDR_CASLAT_25 /* CASLAT set to 2.5 */ which is never used anywhere in the code. Perhaps a typo and DDR_CASLAT_20 was meant? Regards, Martin

Hi All, We have an embedded system running on u-boot and Montavista Linux. We are planning to put "Wget" feature into u-boot. I am new to this Wget, but as of my knowledge Wget requires IP Stack and File system. Can anyone through some inputs on this. Any help appreciated. Thanks in Advance, Nagi

We currently have several PQII and PQIII PrPMC boards that dynamically support PCI bus speeds between 25 MHz and 133 MHz. These boards provide a CPLD register that gives PCI frequency. I would like to take advantage of this register, if possible, within u-boot rather than using a #define such as CONFIG_83XX_CLKIN, CONFIG_8260_CLKIN, or CONFIG_SYS_CLK_FREQ for the input clock frequency to the processor. Is there a suggested method of doing this? For testing I have implemented the following in get_sys_info() in speed.c for an MPC8560 board: #if !defined (CONFIG_SYS_CLK_FREQ) sysInfo->freqSystemBus = plat_ratio * get_sys_clk(); #else sysInfo->freqSystemBus = plat_ratio * CONFIG_SYS_CLK_FREQ; #endif The get_sys_clk() function resides in the board code directory. Would this be an acceptable method? It would minimize any impact to other existing boards. Greg
